Dignity secures waiver from holders of 6.31% class A notes due 2023

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, July 25 – Dignity Finance plc said it secured approval of a waiver from holders of its £254.45 million of class A secured 6.31% notes due 2023.

The meeting was held Friday, and there were enough holders to form a quorum, according to a company announcement with the London Stock Exchange.

The meeting had been adjourned due to lack of quorum on July 10. The meeting was announced on June 18.

As previously announced, the company sought holder approval to waive technical defaults arising out of a technical drafting error in clause 18.7.2 of the issuer/borrower loan agreement.

Dignity plc is a Sutton Coalfield, England-based holding company. The company, along with its subsidiaries, provides funeral services, including funeral directing, crematoria operation and the marketing and administration of pre-arranged funeral plans.
