DBSI trustee seeks approval to sell Lexington, S.C., property

Charlotte, N.C., July 28 - DBSI Inc. trustee James R. Zazzali requested court authorization to sell the company's property, known as The Shoppes of Lexington, to CRP-Lexington, LLC for $2.1 million in a private sale, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The approximately 1.1 acre land parcel is located about 10 miles west of Columbia, S.C., in Lexington, S.C. It was developed into a 7,440-square-foot strip retail shopping center.

Meridian, Idaho-based DBSI controls a network of real estate entities. The company filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 10, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12687.
