Chesapeake calls 2.75%, 2.5% contingent convertibles due 2035, 2037

Chicago, June 22 – Chesapeake Energy Corp. said it will redeem its $2 million of 2.75% contingent convertible senior notes due 2035 and its $1.2 million of 2.5% contingent convertible senior notes due 2037.

The notes will be redeemed on July 24 at par of $1,000 principal amount plus accrued interest to the redemption date, according to two separate notices issued by the company.

The 2.75% notes are convertible at a conversion rate of 27.7683, and the 2.5% notes are convertible at a conversion rate of 21.0314.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the paying agent and conversion agent.

Chesapeake Energy is an Oklahoma City-based oil and gas producer.
