Century Energy cancels C$4 million private placement of units, stock

Oil and gas company elects not to proceed with Aug. 29 securities sale

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 18 - Century Energy Ltd. said it will not proceed with a non-brokered private placement of units and stock. The deal was slated to raise between C$2 million and C$4 million and priced on Aug. 29.

Century Energy is an oil and gas exploration company in Calgary, Alta.
