Moody's ups Central Hudson Gas to A2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the ratings of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. (senior unsecured rating and issuer rating to A2 from A3).

The outlook is stable.

"The upgrade of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. reflects regulatory provisions in New York that are consistent with our view of a generally improving regulatory environment for U.S. electric and gas utilities," Moody's analyst Lesley Ritter said in a news release.
