Prospect News reports four new defaults for June 22-June 28

Olympia, Wash., June 30 – Prospect News reported four new defaults for June 22 through June 28.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made iMedia Brands, Inc., Peer Street, Inc. and Lordstown Motors Corp. and a missed interest payment by Central China Real Estate Ltd.

So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 135 defaults, including 92 Chapter 11 filings, 16 missed interest payments, 11 missed principal and interest payments, four CCAA filings, two each of Chapter 15 filings, conciliations, Chapter 7 filings and recapitalizations, and one each of reorganizations, liquidations, missed interest payments paid within a grace period and judicial reorganizations.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $774.91 million in assets and at least $393.99 million in debt collectively.
