Cardinal Energy extends time to swap 5.5% convertibles for 8% paper

Columbus, Ohio, July 20 – Cardinal Energy Ltd. said holders of about 62% of the outstanding principal amount of its 5.5% convertible debentures due Dec. 31, 2020 exercised their right to exchange the paper for new 8% convertibles due Dec. 31, 2022.

Additionally, the company extended the period of time that debentures can be exchanged to 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 4 from 5 p.m. ET on July 20.
