California schedules $110 million of veterans G.O. bonds for Thursday

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, Sept. 12 – The State of California is expected to price $110 million of series CJ non-AMT veterans general obligation bonds on Thursday, said a notice of sale.

The bonds (Aa2/AA/AA-) will be sold on a competitive basis with Public Resources Advisory Group as the financial adviser.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2020 and 2031 to 2035.

Proceeds will be used to reimburse the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for contracts of purchase made under the state’s 1943 fund and to fund future contracts.
