California-Nevada Methodist Homes sets voting procedures for plan

Chicago, May 8 – California-Nevada Methodist Homes’ disclosure statement has been approved and voting procedures on the company’s Chapter 11 plan have been set, according to an order filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.

The first amended disclosure statement was submitted for approval on April 28.

Voting procedures were also set by the court.

Objections to the plan are due by June 20.

A confirmation hearing will be held on June 30.

Oakland, Calif.-based California-Nevada Methodist Homes is a not-for-profit corporation that operates continuing care retirement communities. It filed bankruptcy on March 16, 2021 under Chapter 11 case number 21-40363.
