Caesars unit reports $61.5 million of income from operations for May

Pittsburgh, July 1 – Caesars Entertainment Operating Co., Inc. (CEOC) reported $61.5 million of income from operations for May on $331.7 million in net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Those figures showed a decline from the $87.1 million of income from operations posted for April on $345.8 million in net revenue.

Net income for May was $29.1 million, down from $48.6 million of April net income.

The company had $1,130,800,000 in cash and cash equivalents as of May 31, compared with $1,073,700,000 at the end of April.

Caesars is a Las Vegas-based casino-entertainment company that filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 15, 2015 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-01145.
