Fitch: Cableuropa view negative

Fitch Ratings said that the negative outlook on Cableuropa SA's long-term issuer default rating of B continues to reflect the company's short term refinancing risk.

Cableuropa faces a further upcoming short-term maturity in June 2010 with a scheduled debt repayment of €144 million, which the company may not be able to meet, Fitch said.

But, reports claim that the company is close to announcing an amendment proposal and Fitch said it anticipates that further details will be forthcoming.
