Cargotec issues €150 million five- and seven-year Schuldschein loans

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 7 – Cargotec Corp. settled a €150 million private placement of Schuldschein loans, according to a press release.

The transaction included floating and fixed rate tranches with maturities of five and seven years.

The loans were targeted to banks and institutional investors, with the proceeds going towards general corporate purposes, including refinancing and acquisitions.

Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba) was the arranger.

Based in Helsinki, Cargotec makes cargo-handling machinery for ships, ports, terminals and local distribution.
