Elizabeth, N.J., slated to price $50.24 million of G.O. bonds and BANs

New York, March 23 – The City of Elizabeth, N.J., is scheduled to price $50,238,000 of series 2015 general obligation bonds and bond anticipation notes on Thursday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The deal includes $36,575,000 of series 2015 general improvement and sewer utility G.O. bonds, $12,263,000 of series 2015 bond anticipation notes and $1.4 million of series 2015 taxable special emergency notes.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2030. The notes are due April 8, 2016.

The bonds and notes will be sold competitively with Powell Capital Markets Inc. as the financial adviser.

Proceeds will be used to refund outstanding general obligation and sewer utility bonds and notes.
