Moody’s gives Cosan notes Ba2

Moody’s Investors Service said it rated Cosan Luxembourg SA’s planned backed senior unsecured global notes Ba2. Cosan SA will guarantee the notes.

The rating is in line with those on the issuer’s outstanding global notes.

“The proceeds will allow Cosan to improve its financial flexibility and conduct liability management extending its debt maturity schedule and will not result in a material increase in the company's leverage,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The outlook is negative.
