Cosan launches offering of guaranteed notes to fund tender offer

Chicago, June 20 – Cosan Luxembourg SA launched an offering of guaranteed senior notes (Ba2//BB) on Monday, according to a notice.

The notes will be guaranteed by parent Cosan SA.

A portion of the proceeds will be directed to a $250 million capped tender offer with any remaining funds used for general corporate purposes.

Distribution will be via Rule 144A and Regulation S.

Cosan is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has businesses in strategic sectors to Brazil’s growth and development, such as energy and logistics.
