New Issue: Czech Republic auctions CZK 7.78 billion bonds due 2019 yield 5.52%

New York, April 22 - The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic sold CZK 7,775,570,000 in 5% bonds due April 11, 2019 to yield 5.52% at its auction on Wednesday.

The bonds were sold at the cut-off price of 96.08, while the maximum bid price was 96.71 and the average price was 96.38.

Competitive bids were tendered for CZK 15.173 billion and accepted for CZK 6.974 billion. Non-competitive bids were tendered and accepted for CZK 801.57 million.

The issuer bought a further CZK 1.5 billion.
