Celldex Therapeutics, CuraGen shareholders to vote on merger Sept. 30

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 28 - Shareholders of Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. and CuraGen Corp. will be asked to approve the biopharmaceutical companies' merger at separate special meetings at 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 30.

The record date is Aug. 17 for the CuraGen meeting and Aug. 20 for the Celldex meeting, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In May, Bloomsbury, N.J.-based Celldex announced it will acquire CuraGen, located in Branford, Conn., in an all-stock deal valued at $94.5 million.
