Cumulus Media plan of reorganization confirmation order draws appeal

Pittsburgh, May 25 – Cumulus Media Inc.’s plan of reorganization confirmation order was appealed Friday by WGH Communications, Inc., according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
WGH said in the notice that it has elected to have the appeal heard by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, rather than by a bankruptcy appellate panel.
The plan was confirmed on May 2.
Cumulus Media is an Atlanta-based radio broadcaster. The company filed bankruptcy on Nov. 29, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-13381.
