CSS Industries chairman owns 7.2% of company's common stock

Charlotte, N.C., April 9 - CSS Industries, Inc. chairman Jack Farber beneficially owns 753,527 shares, or 7.2%, of the company's common stock, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Between Dec. 6 and March 11, the Jack Farber Revocable Trust sold 169,607 shares of CSS priced from $35.70 to $40.30. Farber is the sole trustee of the trust.

CSS is a Philadelphia consumer products company.
