Credit Suisse plans buffered PLUS due 2021 with cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, Jan. 15 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Aug. 4, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus double any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $12.615 per PLUS.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Jan. 31.
The Cusip number is 22549Y545.
