Credit Suisse plans two-year digital buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 1 – Credit Suisse AG, London branch, plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due Feb. 27, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed payment percentage, which is expected to be 14% to 16% and will be set at pricing. If final index level falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 10%.
Credit Suisse is the agent.
The notes (Cusip: 22546VW51) are expected to price Feb. 19 and settle Feb. 26.
