Credit Suisse plans six-year digital plus buffered notes tied to Dow

Madison, Wis., March 2 – Credit Suisse AG plans to price 0% digital plus buffered notes due March 31, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the gain and a fixed payment percentage of 30% to 35%. The exact fixed payment will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will be exposed to any losses in the index beyond the 15% buffer level.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on March 27 and settle on March 31.

The estimated value of the notes on the pricing date is $915 to $945 per $1,000 principal amount.

The Cusip number is 22546V5Z5.
