Credit Agricole adds Americas head of retail, private banking Lafosse

By Tali Rackner

Minneapolis, July 12 – Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank’s global markets division hired Sebastien Lafosse as head of retail and private banking group for the Americas, according to press release.

Based in New York, Lafosse reports locally to Stanislas Varin, head of cross asset structuring and Koceila Maames, head of financial institutions sales Americas. He reports globally to Regis Benichou, global head of retail and private banking group.

Lafosse has more than 10 years of experience in the retail distribution space, starting his career at Societe Generale as part of the Latin American structured products distribution, then on the retail structured product team at Morgan Stanley and most recently at Natixis, where he headed the cross asset solutions distribution.

Structured products redeployment is one of the pillars of Credit Agricole CIB's medium-term plan and is a key component of the Americas franchise's growth, the release said.

Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank is the corporate and investment arm of Credit Agricole Group, a Paris-based financial institution.
