Brazil's Cosan gives guidance in 5½% area for dollar 10-year notes

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, March 6 - Brazil's Cosan SA has set talk in the 5½% area for a 10-year offering of dollar-denominated notes (expected ratings: Ba2/BB/BB+), a market source said.

Bradesco BBI, BTG Pactual, Itau BBA and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The notes will be non-callable for five years and include a change-of-control put at 101%.

The proceeds will be used to prepay debt.

Cosan is a Sao Paulo-based producer of bioethanol, sugar and energy.
