Moody's confirms Cosan

Moody's Investors Service said it confirmed Cosan SA Industria e Comercio's Ba2 corporate family and Cosan Overseas Ltd.'s Ba2 senior unsecured debt ratings.

The outlook is stable.

"The confirmation of the ratings reflect Moody's view that the recent announced transactions, including the planned acquisition of Comgas and the negotiation for a stake in America Latina Logistica - ALL, will pressure Cosanīs credit metrics over the next few years and offset some of the credit positives related to the creation of Raizen," Moody's analyst Marianna Waltz said in a news release.
