Corus Bankshares' five-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, June 29 - Corus Bankshares, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by U.S. Trustee William T. Neary, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The committee members are James H. Byrnes of indenture trustee U.S. Bank, NA; J. Chris Matthews of indenture trustee The Bank of New York, Mellon Trust Co., NA; Steven Cimalore of indenture trustee Wilmington Trust Co.; James R. Lewis of indenture trustee Wells Fargo Bank, NA; and Michael D. Messersmith of indenture trustee Bank of America, NA.

Corus, a Chicago-based bank holding company, filed for bankruptcy on June 15. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-26881.
