Moody's ups Corning view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Corning Inc. 's Baa1 senior unsecured rating and revised the outlook to stable from negative.

The actions consider improved prospects for Corning's earnings and cash flows as a result of higher volumes in the company's display technologies segment, cyclical recoveries across several of its other end markets and the passage of peak levels of capital expenditures, the agency said.
