Cooper-Standard posts $912,961 operating profit for Aug. 3 to Aug. 31

Pittsburgh, Oct. 16 - Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. reported a $912,961 operating profit for the period of Aug. 3 to Aug. 31 on $37.54 million in sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The net loss for the period was $20.74 million.

The company had $45.71 million of cash and cash equivalents at Aug. 31.

Cooper-Standard, a Novi, Mich., manufacturer and marketer of systems and components for the global automotive industry, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 3. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12743.
