DBRS, Inc. said it confirmed Co-operative Bank plc's long-term debt rating of A.

The trend is stable.

The confirmation reflects the bank's bolstered franchise, which has benefited from the merger with Britannia Building Society, its respectable asset quality measures and the sound and well-managed liquidity and funding profile, according to the agency.
