Consolidated Edison of New York to price debentures in two parts

Knoxville, Tenn., May 7 – Consolidated Edison Co. of New York, Inc. plans to bring a two-part offering of series 2018A and 2018B debentures to market, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Both tranches of debentures will have a make-whole call and then a par call.
Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BNY Mellon Capital Markets LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., SMBC Nikko and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. are the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including repayment of short-term debt.
The electric utility is a subsidiary of New York City-based Consolidated Edison, Inc.
