First Trust's Confluence Small Cap Value to liquidate class F shares

San Diego, Dec. 14 - First Trust announced changes to the class F and class R3 shares of its Confluence Small Cap Value Fund.

Effective Dec. 15, all class F shares will be liquidated, and no new class F shares will be available for purchase, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition, the total distribution and service fees (12b-1) for class R3 shares will be reduced to 0.5% of the average daily net assets of the shares. The fee is comprised of a 0.25% distribution fee and a 0.25% service fee. Previously, the total distribution and service fees for class R3 shares was 0.75%.

Wheaton, Ill.-based First Trust Advisors LP is the investment adviser to the fund.
