Millennium adds to ownership of Composite Technology

Charlotte, N.C., July 17 - Composite Technology Corp. shareholders led by Millennium Management LLC purchased 3,798,880 shares of the company's stock between June 12 and July 6, priced from $0.99 to $1.59 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons beneficially own 12,201,172 shares, or 5.7%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Composite, based in Irvine, Calif., develops composite core cables for electric transmission and distribution lines.
