Fitch affirms Compania General de Electricidad

Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed the local and foreign currency issuer default ratings for Compania General de Electricidad SA at BBB and the company's national-scale rating at A+(cl).

The outlook is stable.

According to the agency, the company's ratings are sustained by the low risk and stable cash flow coming from its core business of Chilean electricity distribution and transmission, which represents about 60% of consolidated EBITDA and more that 70% of total dividends received by the holding company.
