Communications Corp. of America looks to postpone disclosure statement, exclusivity hearings to June 25

Pittsburgh, May 15 - Communications Corp. of America, Inc. asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana to postpone the May 21 hearings on approval of its disclosure statement, extension of its exclusive period to solicit votes on a plan of reorganization and termination of exclusivity, according to a Monday court filing.

The company asked the court to postpone all three hearings to June 25.

Communications Corp. said its official committee of unsecured creditors and General Electric Capital Corp. have agreed to the postponement.

Communications Corp. of America, a Lafayette, La., television station owner, filed for bankruptcy on June 7, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-50410.
