S&P: Colt Defense view to negative

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the B+ corporate credit rating on Colt Defense LLC.

The outlook was revised to negative from stable.

The ratings reflect an aggressive financial profile, limited product diversity, moderating demand from a key customer and a modest revenue base, S&P said.

The company's position as a leading supplier of small arms to the U.S. military and good operating margins somewhat offset these factors, the agency said.
