New Issue: Citigroup prices $17 million notes linked to aluminum

New York, Feb. 21 - Citigroup Funding Inc. priced $17 million of 4.45% notes due May 22, 2008 linked to the aluminum 15-month forward contract price and cash settlement price, according to a 424B8 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be a cash payment of the cash settlement price of aluminum on May 19, 2008, the valuation date, divided by the present forward contract price. Investors will share in losses.
