New Issue: China’s Citic Securities issues RMB 11.5 billion 5½% bonds due 2020

Madison, Wis., March 17 – Citic Securities Co. Ltd. announced it issued RMB 11.5 billion of 5½% subordinated bonds on Monday, according to a notice.

The five-year bonds are callable at the end of the third year.

This is the issuer’s first tranche of subordinated bonds for 2015. Shareholders had approved at the annual general meeting on June 18, 2014 the issuance of up to RMB 40 billion of onshore and offshore corporate debt financing instruments.

Citic Securities is a Beijing-based investment bank and is a subsidiary of Citic Group.
