Circuit City granted court OK of $4.65 million shopping center sale

Pittsburgh, June 25 - Circuit City Stores, Inc. obtained court approval of the $4.65 million sale of a shopping center in Baltimore to VEI Circuit LLC, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
VEI Circuit will also assume leases related to the property.
The Richmond, Va., electronics retailer filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 10, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-35653.
