S&P boosts Cimarex

S&P said it boosted its ratings for Cimarex Energy Co. to BBB from BBB- and removed it from CreditWatch where it was placed with positive implications on May 24.

Cimarex completed it merger with Cabot, which resulted in the formation of Coterra Energy Inc.

The agency subsequently withdrew its ratings for Cimarex.

The outlook was stable.
