Portland, Ore., June 20 – Burford Capital Global Finance LLC started a roadshow on Tuesday for a $400 million offering of eight-year senior notes (expected ratings Ba2/BB-), according to market sources.

The deal is set to kick off on an investor conference call scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

The offering is in the market with $250 million of reverse inquiry, a trader said.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S for life notes come with three years of call protection.

Jefferies is the left bookrunner. BofA and Barclays are the joint bookrunners.

B. Riley and Wedbush are the co-managers.

The global finance and asset management firm plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including potential debt repayment or retirement.

Burford Capital has headquarters in London.
