Chap-Cap sells shares of Building Materials

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 11 - Chap-Cap Activist Partners Master Fund, Ltd. sold 155,300 shares of Building Materials Holding Corp. stock between Nov. 26 and Dec. 10 for tax-planning purposes, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were sold for $5.99 to $6.98 each.

The reporting persons beneficially own 2,212,339 shares, or 7.5%, of the San Francisco-based building products and construction services company.

It was previously reported in November that Robert L. Chapman, in a letter to Building Materials, urged the company to embrace, rather than alienate, its shareholder's efforts to join its board.
