S&P: Brown & Brown to positive

S&P said it affirmed all of its ratings on Brown & Brown Inc., including the BBB- issuer credit rating.

At the same time, the agency revised the outlook to positive from stable.

“The positive outlook reflects the improvement in Brown & Brown's credit protection measures over the past couple of years, which have resulted in our reassessment of the company's financial profile as modest (from intermediate),” S&P said in a news release.
