New York, March 10 - BRC Diamond Corp. said it has increased to C$6.65 million its previously announced C$5.25 million private placement.
The company now plans to sell up to 1.9 million shares at C$3.50 each.
Kingsdale Capital Markets Inc. is the placement agent.
The deal priced on Jan. 16 as a C$5.25 million offering of 1.5 million shares at the same price.
Proceeds will be used for exploration on the company's diamond properties in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The rest will be used for general corporate purposes.
Toronto-based BRC is a diamond exploration company.
