S&P lifts AmBev

Standard & Poor's said it raised its foreign currency corporate credit rating on AmBev - Companhia de Bebidas das Americas to BBB from BBB-.

The local currency corporate credit rating was affirmed at BBB and the outlook was revised to positive from stable, the agency added.

The outlook is positive.

S&P said that the BBB local currency rating continues to reflect AmBev's very efficient operations and the expected good resilience of its cash flows, even considering potentially more volatile economic conditions in Brazil.
