Boscov's sale hearing continued to Nov. 18

Portland, Ore., Nov. 13 - Boscov's Department Store LLC's hearing for approval of the sale of substantially all of its assets to a family group led by Albert Boscov and Edwin Lakin was continued to Nov. 18, according to a source familiar with the case.

A status conference was held Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Boscov's announced on Nov. 4 that it had terminated its previously announced agreement with Versa Capital Management.

The company has not yet announced the new purchase price under the agreement with the family group.

Boscov's, a Reading, Pa.-based regional department store chain, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 4. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11637.
