Some BlackRock fixed-income funds change portfolio management teams

San Diego, Dec. 4 -BlackRock Bond Fund, Inc. announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission portfolio management changes to some of its fixed-income funds.

Existing portfolio managers Rick Rieder and Bob Miller will comprise the management team of the BlackRock Total Return Fund and the BlackRock Core Bond Portfolio. Eric Pellicciaro and Matthew Marra are no longer part of either fund's portfolio management team.

In addition Scott MacLellan will be a portfolio manager of the BlackRock Low Duration Bond Portfolio, joining existing portfolio manager Thomas Musmanno. Stuart Spodek is no longer managing the fund.

Wilmington, Del.-based BlackRock Advisors, LLC serves as the investment manager to the funds.
