Bourbon placed in judicial liquidation by order of court

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, April 30 – Bourbon Corp.’s bankruptcy was converted on Wednesday into judicial liquidation by the Marseilles Commercial Court, according to a news release.

The court appointed Jean Pierre Louis and Marc Senechal as co-liquidators and retained Frederic Abitbol and Alexandre Bonetto as co-administrators of Bourbon.

As reported in December, all of the assets and activities of Bourbon were sold to Societe Phoceenne de Participations, which has become the new shareholder of Bourbon Maritime and owner of the Bourbon brands.

Transfer of ownership of the Bourbon assets took place on Jan. 2.

Paris-based Bourbon is a marine and subsea services company.
