B+H Ocean Carriers five-member creditors committee appointed

Charlotte, N.C., June 14 - B+H Ocean Carriers, Ltd.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by the U.S. Trustee for Region 2, according to documents filed June 14 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Trustee Tracy Hope Davis appointed Sveinung Sleire of Norsk Tillitsmann ASA of Oslo, Norway; Ian G. Sharpe of Kristensons-Petroleum, Inc. of Red Bank, N.J.; Bulent Tatli of AB International Marine Services Co. of Istanbul; Siok Choo Teo of Airserve Marine Travel Pte Ltd. of Singapore; and Simon van Kampen of S.S.G. Shipping Services BV of The Netherlands.

B+H Ocean Carriers filed for bankruptcy on May 30. Its case number is 12-12356. The shipbuilder is based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
