Berkshire Hathaway plans to price offering of senior notes

Los Angeles, Jan. 5 – Berkshire Hathaway Inc. plans to price callable senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

BofA Securities, Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC. are the joint bookrunners.

The notes will be issued via Berkshire Hathaway Finance Corp. and guaranteed by Berkshire Hathaway.

Proceeds will be used to refinance the company’s $750 million 4.25% senior notes due Jan. 15, 2021.

The conglomerate holding company is based in Omaha.
