Bayonne Medical Center granted three-month exclusivity extension

New York, Aug. 21 - Bayonne Medical Center received an extension on Tuesday to its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and solicit votes on the plan from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, according to a person familiar with the case.

The company's exclusive plan-filing period was extended to Nov. 12 from Aug. 13 and the solicitation period to Jan. 9 from Oct. 12.

The Bayonne, N.J., medical center filed for bankruptcy on April 16. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-15195.
